What's Yin Mindfulness Yoga?

Yin Mindfulness Yoga is the slow pace and quiet practice that draws our focus inwards connecting to the true essence of ourselves. As the pace of our lifestyle, both work and play, becomes increasingly faster, finding stillness and the sense of equilibrium becomes harder and harder.


Yin Yoga is a meditative practice consisting of long held stretches without muscle tension, focusing on the inner tissues of our body - strengthening, stretching and stimulating to encourage more flexibility and freedom of movement. By practicing so, it releases deep tension of the body and relaxes the nervous system. Yin Yoga reduces stress while stimulates regeneration.


Yin Yoga is a unique approach to yoga practice that work on releasing ''fascia'' tension in the body. The stillness of the long held yin poses enables one to guide the flow of energy thus creating deeper level of calmness, concentration and equanimity.

This 200 Hours Yoga Alliance – Yoga Teacher Training, is dedicated to practitioners who have intention to start teaching yoga, or for those who want to deepen and expand their own personal practice. The outline of training includes thoughtfulness, balanced and systematic flow of yin and yang, eight limbs yoga, and yoga guide to enchance internal and external transformation. Our training focuses on: ethics and philosophy of yoga, asana, pranayama, meditation and other techniques. Our research show that we should also focus on the core principles of yin yang yoga and adjustment to achieve vibrant practice. This training will help you become an effective teacher!

 

In this training we will explore:

 

  • How, why and when to practice this style safely and effectively
  • Organ health and Yoga practice (sequences for kidneys, liver, etc.)
  • Balancing the Yin style with a Yang practice to support structural strength and stability
  • Proper physical alignment in active postures
  • The primary focus of ujjayi breath in asana: length, depth and direction
  • Mindfulness in asana
  • Sequencing of postures for various levels, from the beginner to the intermediate
  • How to assist those with injuries
  • The use of touch and hands-on adjustments
  • Skillful verbal communication
  • The teacher/student relationship

50 Hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training Program – Foundations Module

The Yin Yoga Teacher Training Course - Foundational level originated from Yin Yoga Mindfulness Immersion, which focus on the practice and teaching of mindfulness meditation within the discipline of Yin Yoga.

 

Through the understanding of how the flow and the formation of energy (chi) physically maintain the natural mobility system, you will develop your ability to create space. You will also learn to effectively control your vocal expression. The program will guide you through teaching cues that unfold insight from within your students. This Yin Yoga Foundations Module covers the essential elements of how to practice and teach Yin Yoga. The training will enable you to:

 

  • Understand how Yin Yoga benefits the Yin aspects of our physical, energetic and mental bodies.
  • Learn the physiological effects of Yin Yoga on connective tissue and joint health.
  • Teach he essential Yin sequences, with relevant modification and variations.
  • Understand how Yin Yoga strengthens the energetic body, with particular attention given to Chinese Medical theory.
  • Practice the 20 main Yin Yoga poses and 17 transitions poses.
  • Sequence from Basic to Intermediate students and to design and set up a successful class.
  • Participants will receive a certificate of completion upon completing the training, the Continuing Education credit (50hours) with the Yoga Alliance

30 Hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training Program – Mindfulness Immersion Module

This Mindfulness Immersion Module emphasised the practice and teaching of mindfulness meditation within the discipline of Yin Yoga. This training is recommended for any student who has completed Foundation module or completed a comparable training.


This module enable you to:

  • Develop your ability to create an enabling environment for your student, effectively use your of voice and higher level teaching cues that support experiential learning.
  • Understand how the Meridian Series related to the 5 elements.
  • Familiarise yourself with Meridian Tracing.
  • Recognise the flow & formation of Qi
  • Received a certificate of completion upon completing of the training.


Certification and YA Continuing Education


This training qualifies for Yoga Alliance Continuing Education contact hours. All participants will receive a certificate of completion upon completing of the training.

Yin Mindfulness Yoga Intensive Workshops
正念陰瑜伽密集工作坊

In the dense from two to five days training workshops, We emphasised that the curriculum is Vipassana, calm and loving to observe the effects of the current practice. Can be said to be designed for the initial exposure to the physical and mental training of the physical and mental exercise of the students. We will work with the concept of mindfulness and Yin Yoga to cultivate the concentrated force for the spindle, and slowly to exercise endurance. We have the opportunity to learn the details of each action to understand their own inner and the body.


At the same time, Yin Yoga Workshop is a very good introduction to yoga. Regarding interest in understanding the meditation, postures, or for their deep understanding of the practice, the course is especially suitable for to create both rigid and flexible long-term yoga exercise program.
